Where else can you place your futon mattress?

Earlier I have blogged about the futon mattress resting on wood frames with slats that open to a bed and make a couch when not slept on. Where else can you place your futon mattress? Keep in mind, in Japan, they place them on firm mats called Tatami. People walk on these and they are used as a floor lining for rooms.

Since tatami mats aren’t used outside of Japan in general, I wouldn’t recommend placing it on the floor unless you have something similar to tatami for which to place it on. Well, guess what? Here at The Futon Shop we carry platform beds with slats in which you can place them on!

Zoinks! What is that you say? You can use futons as something other than sofa beds? If you haven’t already noticed, we carry 33 different futon mattresses and only 3 are outside the category of “everyday use.” Every day use entails using your futon to sit on as a couch and laying down on when sleeping, e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y.

We carry some very modern and stylish platform beds here at The Futon Shop:

What does every kid in the world want when having friends sleep over? How about a bunk bed with a top sleeper and a bottom sofa bed conversion! Imagine the smile on the kids face when their friends come over and they are impressed by the sleeping arrangement that is provided! Not only can they do sleep overs, they have a nice sofa bed to hang out on after to talk, study, or just watch T.V.! A few of the bunk beds have room under for an extra trundle to add yet another futon mattress! If you are going to have an awesome sleepover for your kids, this is the way to go.

Sleeping is a very important part of everyone’s lives. How you go to bed can make sleep easier. I’m sure not every thinks of it, but for the ones that have a hard time sleeping: you probably conditioned yourselves to hate sleeping. Waking up sore? Sleeping uncomfortably the first 1-2 hours before falling asleep? Now continue that for most of you life. Life is short, make your sleeping arrangements more enjoyable, t-o-d-a-y. You can agree or disagree but you can not deny the fact that sleep could be made easier to fall into with the right arrangements. Let’s start with the actual bedding first. Kick that old box spring and cheaply made mattress today. Get yourself a comfortable futon mattress and combine that with a platform bed so it’s ready for you every night. If you got kids, let them start early.
